I hold two Masters Degrees, one in Counselling Psychology and one in Human Resource Management, a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (ABD) and have 17 years' experience working with adults in both private, NHS and workplace settings. My extensive background allows me to address a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, from anxiety and depression to employee motivation and performance. I have extensive therapeutic experience working with adults and teens (over 16) and I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive space where insight, self-care and most importantly change and personal growth can be achieved.

Our journey begins with an initial assessment, where we will explore your story and current difficulties. Following on from this we will collaboratively work out a treatment plan tailored to your needs. My preferred approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), as it is an evidence based psychological treatment that has been shown to be effective for a wide range of mental health conditions.
Each therapy session is designed to suit your individual needs, and lasts around 60 minutes. Depending on your preferences and requirements, I can offer both short-term structured therapy and longer-term support. Under the umbrella of CBT, my practice draws upon various other therapeutic models, including compassion-focussed therapy, mindfulness, meditation, assertiveness as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, (helpful for emotional regulation and self-harming behaviour), acceptance and commitment therapy, .
