Manage Intrusive Thoughts
I offer a safe, supportive space for you to explore and manage your intrusive thoughts (often obsessional) and obsessive-compulsive behaviours. You can start your journey to better mental health today.
What is OCD?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is characterised by unhelpful, unwanted, and intrusive thoughts, often accompanied by obsessional behaviours that can be disturbing. These may include a fear of germs, constant checking, but also include relationship doubts and intrusive thoughts and unpleasant images.
Sub-types of OCD include skin picking disorder, hoarding disorder (holding on to your memories) and body dysmorphia. I understand the complexities of OCD and offer tailored treatment plans to help you manage your intrusive thoughts. Using evidence-based approaches, I will work with you to identify and manage these intrusive thoughts.
Your OCD therapy tools
I use a range of therapeutic models to treat OCD, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), emotional regulation techniques, mindfulness, and meditation. Each approach is designed to help you understand and manage your thoughts and behaviours more effectively. My holistic methods ensure that your treatment meets your needs. By combining these therapies, I aim to provide support that addresses both the symptoms and underlying causes of OCD, helping you achieve lasting change and improved mental well-being.
