Both single incident and complex childhood trauma can have a significant long-term effect on your mental and emotional well-being. I offer specialist treatment within NICE guidelines that include Trauma Stabilisation, sometimes followed by Trauma Focused therapy, to help you process traumatic events that appear stuck, and will enable you to heal and move forward. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, to manage negative emotions and provide comprehensive support for trauma recovery.

I employ an evidence-based approach to trauma therapy, focusing on compassion and healing. Working in both outpatient and inpatient settings and Step 4 IAPT NHS services,  made up of highly experienced therapists such as CBT therapists, where treatment was for individuals with complex needs, was more intense and for longer periods of time. We will work together to process your trauma, allowing you to alleviate pain and manage painful thoughts. We will also focus on rebuilding your life and moving forward.
